Yellept of the Walla Walla people exchanges gifts with Lewis and Clark in this  Fort Walla Walla Museum diorama by Leslie Williams Cain.

Fort Walla Walla Museum is the premier institution for discovering, preserving and sharing the heritage of the Walla Walla region. It enhances the quality of life here by connecting people to their heritage, creating a strong sense of place and belonging.

As museum staff and volunteers learn more about early Walla Walla, local farm life, Fort Walla Walla, and area prehistory, this knowledge will be shared in exhibits, presentations, and publications. Your gift helps support the Museum’s new Heritage Research Services Program.

Your gift helps the museum process artifacts and provide climate-controlled space to house and exhibit them, ensuring that these regional treasures are preserved for future generations.

Your gift enables the museum to provide new and enhanced exhibits, children’s programs, and events that draw people together in an understanding and appreciation of Walla Walla’s past.

Fort Walla Walla Museum serves as an economic engine by bringing in visitors from all over the nation and from an average of 40 countries annually. Your gift contributes to the enhancement of the Museum as one of the area’s major tourist attractions.
