Fort Walla Walla Museum has published two richly-illustrated, historical books, Soldiers, Pioneers & Indian People, 2007, and An Illustrated History of Fort Walla Walla, 2011, each an important account that coincides with the development of the community and the area. Both received Washington Museum Association Publication Excellence awards.


In addition, a variety of pamphlets and brochures are regularly developed and distributed to share research and other historical and educational information with the community.


The Museum also publishes a quarterly newsletter, which is available to members on line or by mail, and keeps the public informed about interesting and exciting happenings through press releases to area media.
